elites are extremely to effective late game, you need to figure out how to balance that.

zerg late game is garbage and adding in lag factor, zerg takes 30 second to make 1 spawner.

See the problem? It took me 50 games as terran and zerg to figure the game out. 5 terran will almost always win.  While i agree most lobby half the terran have not a clue how to play, it was designed to take time to be experience. 

You want to promote change and gain populairty ? Focus on the ranking system and you will get attraction.  Mass majority of ZHer likes bragging right, give them that.  Start with 1000 elo and work up.  Nothing looks more op when you have lobby full of 1200 and 1300 terran and zerg.

Unlock capacity, i find it useless.  While i like plays without late capacity.  In a full op terran lobby, capacity will not work, you just die. Let the new zerg figure that out. You're limiting to many strat because of this.

If there is one person that will spark Popularity, i feel i would one of them.  I'm not 16 nor am i a troll.  Like i said i don't mind sponsoring the map maker or host tourney with my money.  But if you want my time and money, at least let me know that you're serious. 

The state of the game now, its not a team game.  Give 1 terran enough and they just win.   Zerg goes in 2 separate situations.  1 new zerg = auto loss.  Coordinate ions = auto loss (generally premade). 

I am by no means good, but i feel i know the game well enough to know there are flaws. Fix those. And you will get more peopls @rick

Like i said, capacity is just a personal issue.  The state of the game now, we need to buff zerg not nerf them.  A terran with 30+ games should not die to full capacity.   Granted they won't have fun, but they shouldn't outright lose.  Scvs are op at repairing gates.

Are you the one doing the changes?  I don't mind sponsoring the editor. Do you mind inplementing changes that i feel are necessary for community version to take over original zerg hex?

It took months and time converting from zone control4 to zone control CE, but roz did it. Im sure you can too.  I love this arcade, I'm to old to play new games. 

Terran should be slight changes, there needs to be some adjustment for zerg

Comments below after playing a few games

Capacity under A1 – This should be removed, locking capacity I feel removes so many early builds.  Tanking are useless, creeper are useless.  The game was design to punish terran who takes 3 gas, at this point, to stop a 3 gas terran is to F2 them.  There are plenty of good zergs whos build are eccentric around capacity.  Capacity nerf feels more personal than anything, not my fault you can’t hold your ground and are force to turtle.

Ranking --  We should incorporate a ranking system similar to ladder or Zonecontrol.  People are obsess with ranking and they will be more obsess when they play for ELO rather than how good their W/L ratio are.
Mineral container – I feel late game I struggle on space due to my sim city.  Is it possible to add a upgrade similar to the extractor?

I honestly just want more zerg buff to balance the game, the state of the game now, zerg is extremely weak.

i think the first most important patch to do is redo the ranking system.

it should be base kind of like Zone control or ladder?  elo scoring is based on the overall average terran or zerg ELO

this will boost more ppl joinig this one vs the orginal imo

this won't work naj, you're introducing macro.  Most people play zerghex is so they can swarm you in the first few mins.

i believe the solutions is to nerf terran not buff zerg.

I hate being rude, but you do realized when you cater to the 1% you get a dead game?  this community will only last because of the general public not a bunch of guys who think they are godlike terran or zerg, but make zero income from this.

I have the luxury of playing this hours at a time everyday, do you?


Getting back to the balance issue, I think the main problem is that zerg has to spend 17,600 minerals (4,300 plus 5,300 plus 8,000 for Armor 3, 4 and 5) to tech up to the next viable unit (bruta) once roach stops working.  It can be done, but if all 6 terrans are pushing, they will kill you while you're trying to tech and eco.

Would be really good if Wmaster listened to Najdorf and gave zerg an extra extractor at the start (at the cost of 15 supply).  Locking capacity behind armor 1 would prevent your teammate from destroying your eco early on.

It might also help to have an archon mode for zerg, so one player could macro while the other transfuses, etc.

you have to look at the bigger picture, most zerg do not build infestors, most zerg build infestors but are to slow to tranfuse because they don't have map awareness.  I believe there needs to be a fix to this so it easier for the newer zerg.

the reality is roaches i believe are the best unit.  Bruts are to slow and their income ratio is really bad, you only really build 1-2 for each lane to force them to build elites.  The counter to elites is just massing units, it doesn't what. mass till they get over swarm.  Once elites are in the picture, the only viable win is omegalisk or tors with tranfuse.
